Hanksville's 4th of July Celebration -- an all day event starting with breakfast at 7:00 a..m., including parade, water games & dunking booth, park activities, mechanical bull riding, rodeo, dutch oven cook-off, and ending with fireworks after dark. July 4, 2009
Hanksville's Lonesome Beaver 24th of July Celebration -- Held annually at the Lonesome Beaver Campground there's lot of relaxing fun with dinner, music, games, and just good ol' community friendship. July 24, 2009
Hanksville's Founder's Day celebration. Scheduled for September 12, 2009; events will be posted.
Halloween Carnival: Held at Hanksville Elementary School. Dinner and carnival games at 6:00 p.m., trunk-or-treat party immediately following. Tentative Spook Alley scheduled.
Hanksville Turkey Shoot: November 28, 2009
Annual fundraising event for Hanksville Emergency Medical Services: Lots of great prizes for sharp shooters !! Come and support our E.M.S.
Town Christmas Celebration and Tree Lighting Ceremony: December 7, 2009
Lighting of the tree at the Old Church House, hot cocoa, carols around a bonfire -- fun !!
